As you might have guessed, this version does not actually work and will not install on the NUC8i7HVK.I went to the AMD website and downloaded the latest version for the Vega RX 64, which purports to be Adrenalin 21.4.1 Recommended (WHQL), which was released yesterday. After I got it working, I used the AMD Cleanup Utility to remove all the AMD drivers, then did a restart.I had to go into recovery mode and do start-up repair. Once I restarted, it nearly bricked my NUC. Windows Update grabbed an AMD driver last night version 27.XXX, I forget the exact one off-hand.Note that I am running the Asus XG Pro for TB3 graphics card with an AMD Radeon 5700 XT card inside.Īll of the OP is still true, but let me add some more issues that now exist: There seems to be an issue with the latest Windows Update driver being downloaded. It is with great sadness that I find myself here, bumping this thread. I will be also posting a quick announcement under our NUC community landing page. I still don’t have any details about when or how we are going to provide you with these drives so please visit our Community or Drivers & Software – Intel to stay informed about it. Our current validated driver is based on Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.2.2 while the latest driver available by AMD* is Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.11.2 Recommended (WHQL) meaning that we could be missing some important "fixes" when running our validated version. I'm so sorry that we haven’t been able to come up with a quicker solution, we hope the newer drivers help mitigate or resolve some of the issues that customers are reporting in general. We are currently working on making updated drivers available for the Radeon* RX Vega M graphics subsystem for Hades Canyon (NUC8i7HVK and NUC8i7HNK). ![]() I apologize for the delay in getting back to you, this case was escalated up we were waiting for a response from the upper technical team. This will let me load GPU Tweak II and I can control the XG Station Pro fans, but will not let me use dual monitors, night light, and native resolution of my monitors.Īny suggestions or feedback as to how to get this solve would be much appreciated. The latest version of Adrenalin is 20.7.1.The last working version of Adrenalin per Intel and testing is 20.2.2. This will not let me load GPU Tweak II and I cannot control the XG Station Pro fans, but will let me use dual monitors, night light, and native resolution of my monitors.I then repeated the process above, except installed Adrenalin 20.2.2, and was able to solve those issues, except GPU Tweak II will not load for the 5700 XT (or show it in the drop down). However, with the Adrenalin 20.7.1 drivers, as I said, the second monitor no longer works, night light no longer works, and the native resolution is terrible. GPU Tweak II *does load* and shows *both* RX Vega and 5700 XT in settings.Second monitor still does not work, and the resolution goes wild, from 1920 x 1080 (native) to something that feels like 640 x 480. ![]()
